The grounds were so beautifully kept, the house so well situated and stocked. The kitchen had ample equipment with lots of cutlery and dinner services, the cupboards full of books, games, information, videos extra toiletries and little touches that made it feel luxurious. We particularly liked the little stock of local wine and produce available to purchase (at market prices) This is not what we expected, it definitely had the feeling that this house had been lived in and cared for, not just a rental villa. Would return in a heartbeat. The Restaurant La Crocina was superb, tucked away on a deserted windy mountain road, the chef and staff were so helpful and warm. The food was spectacular. Try their Ravioli with pear… what a surprising and fabulous dish.
